Instrument made of wood and strings, it has soft sounds and is used for storytelling. It can be designed in various shapes and sizes. It is probably the most beautiful of the Baka's instruments. Its full name is "ngombi na pekeh" or the "ngombi made from the raphia palm".
This drum is hollowed out of a whole tree trunk, is used for both music and communication. Played with two sticks, its powerful sounds can carry over 10 miles (16 km).
